Setting periodic email alerts

The main functionality of this add-on is to limit the number of emails you get based on a time period or logs count. It is really easy to configure that feature.

No email alerts will be sent if there are no new errors.

If you want to get email alerts after a time period,

  • Disable email alerts in parent plugin settings.
  • Go to Log Manager tab from 404 to 301 menu.
  • Select the time period from the “Email alert interval” dropdown.
  • Save the settings.

If you want to get email alerts based on the error logs count,

  • Disable email alerts in parent plugin settings.
  • Go to Log Manager tab from 404 to 301 menu.
  • Select the “After specific count” option from the “Email alert interval” dropdown.
  • Enter the number of error logs (email alert will be sent whenever logs crossing this count).
  • Save the settings.

Note

If you don’t want to enable periodic alerts, select “Default” option. This will inherit the parent alert plugin option.

Sit and relax. You will be alerted for sure 🙂
